ORA Training Tracks
ORA Training Tracks provides a structured framework for maintaining compliance with the ORA Continuing Education Policy while supporting career progression for research administrators. The framework incudes both mandatory and elective training options tailored to different experience levels, ensuring that all staff develop core competencies while allowing for the development of specialized and leadership skills.
Designed for administrators who are new to Emory research administration or have limited research administration experience. RAE Basic Certification Training is appropriate for onboarding new research administrative staff and providing upskilling or refresher training for current research administrative staff.
Target Audience
Individuals new to ORA or RAS
Focus
Core principles or research administration, encompassing pre- and post-award functions. Introduction to Emory-specific roles, policies, procedures, reporting, and systems.
Required Hours
26.5 contact hours during the first two weeks of employment
