The Strategic Operations team consist of four individuals, with different specialties, that have come together to address and resolve potential challenges and provide continuous improvement (CI) throughout the Office of Research Administration (ORA). Continuous Improvement (sometime referenced as Process Improvement) is an ongoing effort to improve product services or processes. These efforts seek "incremental" improvement over time or "breakthrough" improvement all at once.

Continuous Improvement Projects

These projects tackle process improvement initiatives that reflect research faculty's concerns and impacts, including areas such as ORA, Finance, and IT. The CI mindset reflects a long-term dedication to improving processes through their life cycle, rather than treating process improvement as an event.
